Confer® Mentoring is now available for small group mentoring sessions by subject and course for the 2016-2017 school year. Confer is a proven program that delivers innovative strategies and techniques for teachers at all experience levels. Each candidate group is comprised of eight to fifteen Master Teacher Candidates and is led by a Catalyst™ Mentor. The Confer Mentoring Program is TEA approved (CPE#902120) and is eligible for tuition reimbursement just like the AP Summer Institute (APSI) programs. Classes must have eight participants to make. Candidates meet once per month for 90 minutes and receive a pacing plan for the upcoming month. Candidates also receive five one-to-one conferences with their mentors.

The webinars will be held at same day and time each month, although in some courses, mentors and their candidates may determine alternative or additional dates within a month. Click on a course below to download the webinar topic schedule which includes the dates of all meetings. A webcam is helpful, but not required during the webinars.
Group size is limited to guarantee a productive working environment, but eight participants is the minimum number of participants for a class to make.
